Our facility is equipped with state of the art digital x-ray equipment.
Dental X-Rays help identify problems with the teeth , gums and the bone, and we highly recommend having a screening set of x-rays taken during your regularly scheduled cleanings. X-Rays not only show hidden cavities but very often they help detect cancerous tumors and growths, cysts, and infection. Early detection of bone cancer can be life saving!
Norman Dental Center is equiped with state of the art dental x-ray machines, including an on-site pan ceph x-ray machine, critical for delicate dental treatment and orthodontic care.
According to the ADA, Dental X-ray examinations "provide valuable information that helps your dentist evaluate your oral health. With the help of radiographs (the term for pictures taken with X-rays), your dentist can look at what is happening beneath the surface of your teeth and gums. If you have questions about your dental X-ray exam, talk with your dentist."
